Self Reflection and Professional Growth

Teachers think systematically about their practice and learn from experience.

  • Teachers are continually making difficult choices that test their judgement.
  • Teachers seek the advice of others and draw on educational research and scholarship to improve their practice.

This blog is my place of reflection and contemplation on who I am as an education professional.  I take the time daily and weekly to think about what I have accomplished in my classroom with my students and how I can grow and change and improve my practice.

I network with my peers, looking for innovation for my practice.  I ask those I work with to consider what I do and critique my work.  I want to be a great teacher.  I think about how I can become that person.
