I have been reflecting a lot recently on my life, my career, my passions, goals, and plans for the future. If my father were here, he’d peer over his glasses and matter of factly suggest that I’m having a midlife crisis. Except, I don’t feel as if I am in crisis. I’m actually pretty calm about things. I have options. I have several choices to consider as I move forward in my life. I’m abundantly blessed in this regard. I can not speak on any regrets in my life. I am learning to like me as I am.
While trolling my LinkedIn account, I found a post by an Instructional Designer that he felt compelled to share with the world. I’m glad he did. It was just the thing to motivate me to keep on keepin’ on out there. There is more to life than just living. As the speaker suggests, we have to live to learn, not simply learn to live. Then, after all of that, even if you do not do it in a formal sense… TEACH OTHERS. Teach others. I love that, don’t you?
